MISSION OF THE COMPANY Picchio produces racing cars and at the same time supplies technical assistance directly to its customers on the racetrack during the competitions. Besides, the company produces handmade and custom-built high-performance GT road cars: they are manufactured in small series of unique samples and sold directly to end private customers. THE PRODUCTS: RACING CARS Sport-prototype racing cars in compliance with FIA regulations. Closed-cockpit racing cars in compliance with Grand-Am regulations and Championship (Daytona Prototype). ROAD CARS High performance, hand manufactured and custom-built GT road cars whose design is strictly and directly drawn from Picchio racing models. PRODUCTION CAPACITY: The maximum production capacity is of 50 cars per year, equally divided into racing and road GT cars. PRODUCTION RESOURCES: The company is located in a 3200 mē building near Teramo ( central Italy), equipped with the following facilities: -CAD/CAM/CAE/3D design dept. -Design and styling dept. -Mechanical manufacturing dept. -Safety tests dept. -Modelling and moulding dept. -Bodywork production dept. -Chassis and suspensions production dept. -Bodywork assembly dept. -Finishing and painting dept. MARKETING AREAS: Racing cars: Europe and USA. GT road cars: Europe, North America, Middle and Far East.
